Project Update #2

Today I researched how to pick up spares. What I've found is that, assuming the bowler is right handed, they must move 3 boards to the right for every left side pin (three for the 2 pin, six for the 4 pin, and nine for the 7 pin) and 4 boards to the left for every right side pin (four for the 3 pin, eight for the 6 pin, and twelve for the 10 pin). Moving an extra board to for right side pins is due to the rotation going against where they want it to go. Pick up spares is essential for the high scores. All of this information was found on bowling.about.com/od/learntobowl/ss/howtopickupspares_righties.htm
Last week I filmed my first tutorial video on how to achieve high scores in bowling. I filmed at Tucson Bowl where my friend Zev was the cameraman. I demonstrated how to throw a straight ball and a curve ball. After the filming was done, I edited the footage on Cyberlink PowerDirector 12. I added transitions, a title, and subtitles. I added the subtitles because I couldn't silence the background noise. There is one scene in the video that uses a split screen, in which I looked on YouTube how to put in the split screen. Overall, my project is going fairly smoothly.
